Patient-based learning (PBL) at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is a case-based curriculum where students learn basic and clinical sciences by working through authentic clinical cases in small groups rather than sitting through traditional, lecture-heavy courses.

As one can see, the original Ferrell-Duncan Clinic Foundation Fund that was established in 1987 supports a wide diversity of charities that support the health of our community. It provides a very convenient way for donors to diversify their donations, whether donors are individuals or other charities, to support the health needs of the community. It is an excellent way to honor family members, friends, caregivers, physicians and other medical providers.
